Gaspe is a delightful little township. Originally a thriving entrepot it now relies on tourists and the public sector for its employment
Queen Mary moored in the bay and we travelled ashore on the tenders  the clour was really this vivid!  meeting one of the locals  marina 
we came across these musicians playing  Jack Cartier cross - it commemorates the 400th anniversay of Jack Cartier arriving in Gaspe in 1534  William Wakeham, doctor, fisheries inspector and explorer  Gaspe cathedral 
looking back the colours were unbelievable
